Zensimu Brandon Hall Group Excellence award with Colgate

Announcement

Zensimu, a leader in innovative business simulations, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Silver award for excellence in the Learning and Development category.

This award was attributed for the Supply Chain development program at Colgate-Palmolive, called The Amazing Race, based on the Beer Game simulation provided by Zensimu.

This win was announced on August 18th, 2022.

I am very proud to receive a Brandon Hall Group price in the Learning & Development category, which rewards critical and effective programs in the industry.

The flexibility and ease of implementation of Zensimu's games allows many instructors at Colgate-Palmolive to deliver trainings, with little or no support. Today, the program is used on a regular basis on all continents by the Colgate teams.

Mathias Le Scaon, Founder and CEO, Zensimu

“Excellence Award winners distinguish themselves through their growing understanding that all the functions of HCM are integrated and must work together to move businesses forward. It is a pleasure to see more organizations collaborating across functions and getting more sophisticated and accomplished at delivering measurable benefit through ground-breaking HCM practices. For example, it was inspiring to see how diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives are increasingly embedded into people and business strategies and cultures. We saw more alignment between HCM and business objectives than ever before.”

Supply Chain training at Colgate-Palmolive

The company had previously relied on physical board games to animate training on a few locations in the United States only.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of home office, Colgate had to switch to remote trainings, and looked for a solution to pursue its learning & development program.

After looking into several options, the company finally chose Zensimu's product at the beginning of 2021, because of its attractive user interface and capacity to meet Colgate's needs.

Using Zensimu's Beer Game provided a quick and efficient way to upskill customer planners, finance, customer service & logistics, and supply chain associates on the key role that Supply Chain Collaboration plays in delivering against Customer Expectations.

Training that in the past would have taken 8 hours in-person to complete, and was limited to how many people could fit in the room, now it is spread out over time and requires as little as 3 hours of time for onboarding.

Using Zensimu's powerful data visualizations and debriefing reports allows Colgate teams to provide insightful lessons and compare Round 1 / Round 2 results directly in-session. This has proven to be very valuable and a great improvement from the previous in-person version of the game.

Today, several dozens of instructors have been added inside Zensimu's platform as the solution has been deployed throughout Colgate's regions.
