Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to play, teach and learn with Zensimu, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. Here's where we stand today.

Conformance status

Zensimu conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In October 2026 we checked the whole web app (play.zensimu.com), for both instructors and participants, against every WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA criterion. All of them are supported, and no feature of the app is left out.

What works well

  • Keyboard: everything works without a mouse. That includes setting up a session, playing a supply chain round with the planning tools, Lean game station play, the “draw your forecast” chart and the debrief.

  • Screen readers: pages have clear headings and labelled controls. Key moments are announced, such as a new period, a validated order or a countdown warning.

  • Charts: each line has its own marker shape and texture, not just its own colour. Every chart also comes with a text summary and a data table.

  • Zoom and small screens: the app works at 200% and 400% zoom and on narrow screens.

  • Videos: our own videos have human-written captions and a full transcript.

How we tested

This is a self-assessment. We reviewed the code and tested the app by hand: keyboard-only use, VoiceOver with Safari, browser zoom, text-spacing checks and automated scans with WAVE.

This assessment doesn’t cover our marketing website, our help centre, or videos that instructors add to their own sessions.

Technical specifications

Our application relies on HTML, CSS, Javascript and WAI-ARIA to support accessibility. A modern desktop or mobile web browser is preferred. We do not support Internet Explorer.
